Monthly fees are paid in FULL EACH MONTH, regardless of the number of days that the program is in session.
Anyone attending on a MONTHLY BASIS, monies are due no later than the first Thursday of each month. Fees paid after the due date are subject to a $10.00 late fee. A child may not attend after the first Thursday with an unpaid balance for the month.
For those who wish to take advantage of our program on certain days, the monies must be paid on those days.
One day of advance notice is preferred for the DROP-IN days. Registration forms and fee must be complete on or before the first drop-in day. Parents may then call or send a not on the specific day.
All monies must be given to the school office or director, not the homeroom teacher of the child.
There is no credit or refunds for days missed due to absence, school holidays, personal illness and activities (dancing school, sports programs, etc.) These absences do not reduce the monthly fees.
If a check is returned uncashable, there will be a $15.00 fee.
Checks are made out to HOLY SPIRIT SCHOOL.
A penalty fee of $5.00 per quarter hour payable immediately will be charged for tardiness. The penalty period begins at 5:31 PM sharp! Excessive non-compliance with this policy will result in termination from the program. THIS POLICY WILL BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO.

EMERGENCIES, SAFETY
Parents/guardians must fill out an emergency paper.
A child may NOT leave the premises with anyone whose name does NOT appear on the emergency paper.
Parents/guardians may NOT take the child from school area without first signing out in the PARENT SIGN OUT BOOK.
Children may NOT go home in a taxi unless the director has been notified a day in advance in writing.
Parents/guardians sometimes wish a telephone message to be given to a child dictating that the child be taken home with a person other than one whose name appears on the registration form. This request will NOT be granted.
REGULATIONS
Disrespect on the part of the child to the Director or caretaker will not be tolerated. If the child persists in being disrespectful, his/her time in the program will be terminated.
It is important that your child follows the directions and rules of the program. If a child continually disregards the policies of the After-Care program, the administrator has the right to dismiss the child from the program.
It is requested that a child NOT bring TOYS from home. Often these items are very personal and important, so the child feels they must be defended and protected. This is not consistent with the sharing atmosphere. If a personal toy becomes a problem source, it will be confiscated until the child leaves for home. If this is persistent, the toy will be confiscated until the end of the week.
SIGN OUT BOOK
Every person who picks up the child MUST sign out ... NAME, TIME, DATE. No child will be released to anyone other than those who name appears on the registration form.
ILLNESS OR ACCIDENT
In cases which appear to be of a minor nature, FIRST AID will be administered on the premises.
Medication of any kind will not be administered.
Parents who do not wish their child treated in any way should indicate such on the emergency papers and should give directions to be followed in the space, "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS".
Parents will be expected to make provisions for taking sick children home. The After-Care program will NOT transport any child.
If the home does not supply adequate emergency instructions, or if the instructions given cannot be followed at the time of an emergency, then the staff will act according to their best judgment for the welfare of the child.
HEALTH
If a child develops any of the symptoms such as fever, pains, headache, rash, inflamed skin, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pains, diarrhea, sore throat, earache, inflammation of the eyes, enlarged gland or persistent coughing, while in the program, the parents will be notified to pick up the child. A doctor's permission may be required for a child to return to the program in some case.
